Check-Valve Spring Manufacturing

Check-valve springs are the heart of non-return elements. NCE winds them from stock stainless spring wire in different diameters and free lengths. Grade and wind direction set fatigue life.

Diameter, wire and pitch

ID, wire diameter, overall length and pitch are given together. Series winding starts after sample approval. 0.25–13 mm spring wire is fed from stock.

Material

302 mat (soap coated) is general purpose. 316 is preferred in chloride and seawater service.

Custom size

Off-catalog force-deflection curves are produced to drawing.
