Disc and Spinneret Filter Manufacturing

NCE was founded in 2002 to make spinneret filters and still treats the disc as a core product. Disc filters and extruder screen packs belong to the same family; the difference is mounting geometry and layer build. The main type is the disc; layer count or spot-weld is a feature.

Round disc

The most common form. Diameter, mesh and wire are chosen together. On multi-layer discs the support sits outside, the fine mesh inside.

Square, rectangular and oval

Square and rectangular discs suit flat dies; ovals suit special mouths. Laser or die cutting keeps burrs under control.

Special-form cut filters

Lugs, locks or off-centre forms are cut from drawing. Custom size applies to every disc order.
